Coordinate with the Groveland based sales team to process just in time orders for delivery.
Provide product selection and quality assurance – Tag material for orders according to customer's’ specifications and sales rep comments.
Assist customers who would like to hand tag material at the farm.
Communicate with sales team regarding product quality, specifications and availability as pertaining to their orders.
Manage harvesting crews and supervise harvesting and loading activities.
Coordinate with customers and truck drivers picking up material at the farm and address any issues as necessary.
Develop harvesting best practices and labor standards. Train crews and monitor performance to ensure quality and efficiency and meet standards.
Manage equipment maintenance and ensure the farm is utilizing the right equipment for the tasks.
Schedule material to be transferred to Groveland farm in order to maintain stock inventory available for shipment from that location.
Responsible for managing the inventory and ensuring accurate and detailed information is maintained in the ERP system.
Responsible for managing and approving operational expense accounts.
Perform cycle counts of inventory and manager dump process.
Provide regular specifications updates , pictures and inventory comments for sales team.
Manage annual planting program including sourcing of starter kits, bed preparation, planting and inventory tracking.
Work with Director of Sales to develop annual sales and harvesting plan.
Participate in master plan development and inventory flow model.
4 year college degree or equivalent experience.
Palm specific experience.
Prior Profit and Loss Management Responsibilities.
Customer Service and Sales Experience.
Spanish language skills a plus.
Valid FL Driver's License with clean MVR
