Key Responsibilities:

Corresponding with Customers/Brokers regarding Order Changes, Weather Issues, Freight and Tracking information

Resolve customer concerns and complaints

Monitor and address cancel requests

Preparing Order listing and router

Meeting with Shipping supervisor with Ship Schedule and concerns

Routing Services

Coordinating with Brokers and Direct customers to route Pool Trucks

Corresponding with multiple trucking companies regarding their truck capacity and rates for specific areas

Checking Weather to determine necessary options for routing orders in specific areas

Sending pickup requests with all information

Managing customer service team to insure all paperwork/orders are keyed correctly


Three years of customer service leadership

Strong knowledge of the transportation/logistics industry

Strong computer/technology skills

Proficient in Excel and Outlook

Ability to inspire and support people

Ability to plan well and prioritize work

Ability to maintain calmness under pressure

Good decision making skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Bilingual (spanish) preferred


Experience leading and developing various levels of employees

Minimum of 2 years of management experience

Strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills

Strong customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different personality types

Strong emphasis on quality of service and follow-up

Problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and listening skills

Experience in MS Office and computer skills (Excel a must)

Strong time management skills- the ability to operate at a high level on multiple projects in a fluid, changing environment

Work Environment:

Upbeat small office that works closely together on day to day decisions

Located in Avon Park, FL


High School graduate

College degree (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
