Plant Nursery Production Manager

Lloyd Nursery is a 50 acre wholesale containerized ornamental nursery, located in North Florida near Tallahassee, family owned and operated since 1980.  We're currently searching for a Nursery Production Manager.

**English/Spanish speaking preferred**

Must love plants, staying organized, being a team leader, and getting things done on time.  Our most successful team leaders work HARD,  know that details matter, follow directions easily and completely, thrive on working outdoors, and are self-motivated to reach for greater levels of achievement and efficiency every day for their team.

Areas of accountability will include plant production, inventory management, logistics, pest management, budgeting, and process improvement.

Full-time position in our family-owned plant nursery. Monday-Friday 7 am-5 pm

Job Requirements:

• Experience working in agriculture
• Basic math (adding & subtracting)
• Basic Reading & Writing
• Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. repeatedly and 50+ lbs. occasionally.
• Able to perform repetitive movements & tasks for 8-10, or more, hours per day which include but are not limited to, squatting, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, standing, walking, and lifting over the shoulder.
• Must be flexible to work in a team environment and be supportive of co-workers and coaches.
• Must be able to work inclement weather conditions (hot, cold, & rainy)
• Must be able to work extended hours

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year based on experience

Experience: Operations Management: 2-3 years (Preferred) Project Management: 1-2 years (Preferred)

Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)

Additional Compensation: Bonuses, 2 weeks paid vacation
