Job Function:

Sea Island Company is seeking a Landscape Project Manager to join our Landscape Design & Installation team. The position is responsible for providing project management for commercial, residential, and capital landscape projects.

Duties:

·         Direct daily activities for multiple landscape construction crews over multiple job sites, establish task priorities, manage crew hours, schedule, and track work assignments, provide guidance, and ensure the availability of resources

·         Regularly communicate to stakeholders including reports on progress as well as problems and solutions

·         Responsible for coordination of all phases of landscape construction activities to meet or exceed both project and company profitability goals

·         Plan and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of all contracted work

·         Responsible for submitting accurate and timely paperwork, time records, work orders, change orders, reports and other documents that are required

·         Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures while complying with legal regulations

·        Provide training and oversight to landscape foreman

Minimum Requirements:

·         Minimum 5 (five) years’ experience in construction project management role preferred

·         Must be familiar with all aspects of site implementation including plant material, irrigation, storm sewer, hardscapes, pools/water features, grading, site lighting, underground utilities, etc.

·         Degree or certificate in Construction Project Management or related field preferred

·         Detail oriented and able to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

·         Familiar with operation of site construction equipment and machinery

·         Proficient in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office

·         Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of landscape properties

·         Familiar with regulatory codes, OSHA and AIA/ASLA/DNR guideline codes

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·
