Currently, there is an opening for an Operations Analyst position to the executive team. This position is located in the corporate office and report to the General Manager.
Position Summary
The Business Operations Analyst is a vital player within a company’s operations team. They dive deep into organizational processes to identify inefficiencies, analyze data, and recommend improvements. With their analytical prowess, this professional will help organizations run smoothly and efficiently, thereby ensuring that business goals are met and often exceeded. This role requires excellent data analytic and computer skill. Direct and cogent communication, issue escalation and full transparency with the General Manager necessary for success.
Essential Duties
Operations
· Investigate and analyze current processes and policies to understand how they contribute to success or dysfunction with the goal of identifying process improvements that need to be made.
· Develop, measure and report Operations Performance metrics in a consistent and meaningful way to be reported monthly to management.
· Use company performance information to execute a continuous improvement culture and to support changes to processes, team composition, and other operational elements of the business.
· Review financial reports monthly to compare actuals against budget, identify variances and causes.
Project Management
· Lead or participate in projects aimed at operational improvements.
· Assist in preparing operational plans for complex, high-profile projects.
· Establish and track project milestones against budget labor hour goals.
Must demonstrate excellence in:
· Verbal communication with peers, managers and executive level team members.
· Computer software and data analytic skills.
· Basic knowledge of Accounting P&L, budgets and identifying root causes driving variances.
· Escalation of issues to executives in a timely manner to seek guidance and assistance (setting ego aside and speaking transparently).
· Project Management and Performance Monitoring using proven techniques for tracking milestones, performance metrics, and identifying dependencies and/or issues. Recommend contingency plans or problem solve to enhance efficiency.
Required Education/Certifications:
· BS/BA (or equivalent work experience) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Accounting or relevant field.
· Analytical background and experience is required.
