Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Account Manager to oversee the maintenance and enhancements of high-end residential landscapes, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction for your clients. Candidates should have expertise in horticulture, landscape maintenance techniques, client relationship management (CRM), and knowledge of industry standards, with at least 3 years of experience. This role involves problem solving, leadership and team management, coordinating with the maintenance team and ensuring their satisfaction while driving the growth and profitability of the accounts. 

Duties:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-end lawn maintenance clients
  • Build and maintain strong, long0term relationships with clients through regular communication and timely response to inquiries
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess the condition of properties and identify any maintenance, irrigation, or pest management needs or concerns
  • Proactively address potential maintenance issues and inform upper management and ownership of said issues
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and coordinate maintenance, irrigation, or pest management services
  • Actively seek opportunities to upsell additional services to existing clients
  • Ensure client satisfaction and proactively address any concerns or issues in a prompt and professional manner
  • Conduct an in-depth review of key client sites along with the irrigation and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) departments, focusing on any areas that require attention or improvement
  • Prepare and send weekly updates or reports to clients, summarizing the work completed and any upcoming tasks
  • Schedule regular client meetings or check-ins to review service quality and discuss any additional needs.
  • Plan and propose additional services or landscape enhancements to clients
  • Prepare and present a monthly report to management, detailing account performance, and any potential issues.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of maintenance account manager experience required
  • Valid driver's license and a clean 3-year MVR report is required
  • Familiarity with sports turf/golf course grass is a plus
  • Knowledge of proper lawn maintenance practices
  • Proven experience in maintenance account management and landscape maintenance, preferably in residential landscaping
  • Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and industry standards, including horticulture, plant care, irrigation, and maintenance. 
  • Ability to identify and diagnose plant health issues such as pests, diseases or nutrient deficiencies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated success in business development with a focus on building long-term client relationships
  • Familiarity with landscape design software or CRM systems, specifically LMN, is a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
  • A proactive approach to problem solving with strong organizational skills
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required

Compensation:

  • Salary: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00, based on experience
