Landscape Project Manager

The Landscape Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing installations and representing Jenkins Landscape Company. The ideal candidate will prioritize customer satisfaction and employee safety while growing profit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Create proposals, engage in bidding, and coordinate with relevant supervisors to install; Conduct regular site visits to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget
  • Relationship Management: Serve as primary point of contact for a portfolio and build strong, long-term relationships with regular communication and timely response to inquiries; Record prospect contact information and communication in customer-relationship management software
  • Safety: Be familiar with all Jenkins Landscape Company safety policies and ensure crews have the necessary equipment and knowledge to perform jobs safely
  • Landscape Knowledge: Be familiar with Florida Horticulture and able to identify common job site plants; Possess or be willing to obtain FNGLA Certified Horticultural Professional or equivalent
  • Leadership: Lead by example to promote a positive, accountable team culture aligned with JLC values
  • Administration: Ensure accurate, timely, and complete documentation of all project activities, including purchase orders, permits, time sheets, project records, and client communications; Work closely with office staff on scheduling, invoicing, job costing, and recordkeeping.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • 2+ years of residential and/or commercial landscape design experience
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Horticultural and landscape construction knowledge; Specifically south Florida plants
  • Ability to design landscaping plans
  • Software skills: Microsoft Suite, Salesforce or equivalent CRM
  • Ability to perform the following job duties with or without accommodation: walking or standing for the duration of a shift, working outside in various weather conditions, pushing, pulling and carrying object up to 35 lbs, bending, squatting, and operating a computer.

Preferred:

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or related field
  • Bilingual Spanish language skills
