Wholesale & Contractor Sales Representative

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Position Objective – Wholesale & Contractor Sales Representative: The primary role of the Wholesale & 

Contractor Sales Representative is to develop relationships with and sell supplies to wholesale and contractor 

customers. This job requires superior organizational skills.

Responsibilities of the Wholesale & Contractor Sales Representative:

• Developing relationships with existing and new small/medium-sized landscape contractors. This will 

include expanding and following-up on existing relationships and some calling on new potential 

customers to introduce our products and services. This may include cold-calling and visiting job sites 

when necessary.

• Working with landscape contractor customers to prepare, send and follow-up on estimates and 

proposals. This will include margin calculations and working with vendors.

• Once orders are received, put pieces together and coordinating the successful delivery of the orders 

working with your teammates from areas throughout the company.

• Creating and managing an availability list to present to potential customers to better facilitate orders 

and maximize total customer spend.

• Develop and manage internal relationships at the company to best utilize your teammates strengths to 

achieve success.

• Develop a full understanding and mastery of the POS system and other software used within the 

company.

• Be proficient with the entire Microsoft Office 365 suite of software, most importantly calendars and 

outlook, to best maximize success.

• This position may also include some project management (i.e. paver, lighting, or landscape installation 

jobs) performed directly by our teams.

• There will definitely be times when you will be asked to help physically load/unload trucks, operate a 

tractor, and possibly drive one of the trucks. We have an “everyone helps all the time” approach at 

Liberty Landscape Supply.

• Other duties as assigned.

• While some exceptions may apply, this will typically be a 45-hour/week job and will typically be 

Monday-Friday.
