Position Overview The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing customer accounts, processing orders, and supporting clients with product knowledge and availability. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer account management — Build and maintain strong relationships with landscapers, garden centers, and wholesale buyers.
Order processing — Enter orders accurately, confirm availability, and coordinate with shipping and production teams.
Product guidance — Assist customers with plant selection, substitutions, and seasonal recommendations.
Sales support — Provide quotes, follow up on inquiries, and ensure timely communication.
Data accuracy — Maintain updated customer records, pricing, and inventory notes.
Qualifications
Experience in inside sales, customer service, or the nursery/landscape industry
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Ability to multitask and manage seasonal volume
Familiarity with plant material preferred
Proficiency with order entry systems and basic computer tools
