LANDSCAPE INSTALLER

ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVES:

 

·         Performs landscape maintenance such as digging, raking, mulching, and watering of plant material under the direction of the Landscape Supervisor.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

 

·         Reports directly to the Landscape Supervisor

·         Will take directions from Landscape Crew Leader in the absence of the Landscape Supervisor

·         Will also take directions from Operations Manager

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·         Requires heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs.

·         Requires digging and exertion in warm climate

·         Bi-lingual preferred (not required)

·         Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisor and management

·         Must be task-oriented

·         Must be able to work as a team and individually

·         Must be able to solve daily problems associated with landscape installation

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES IN ATTAINING ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVES:

 

·         Will dig holes for plants, rake, mulch, and water plant material

 

·         Must become familiar with day-to-day landscape and plant terminology over a period             of 3 to 6 months
