Plantscaper / Planting Specialist (Part-Time, Contract)

Loma Atelier is opening a showroom in West Palm Beach in early 2027 specializing in hand-carved limestone planters, garden sculpture and architectural vessels. We are looking for an experienced plantscaper to plant and install our pieces in clients' homes and gardens, on a part-time, project-by-project basis.

What you'll do

• Select and plant specimen material for large stone planters and vessels, indoors and out
• Install planted pieces at client residences, working with our team and clients' landscape or design teams
• Source plant material through our wholesale grower and local nurseries
• Advise clients on care, and provide follow-up visits or maintenance where needed

What we're looking for

• Several years of hands-on experience in residential plantscaping, container planting or landscape installation in South Florida
• Strong knowledge of plants suited to the region, including coastal and salt-tolerant species
• Experience with heavy containers: drainage, soil mixes and weight after watering
• A refined eye and a portfolio of high-end residential work
• Reliable transportation and your own general liability insurance
• FNGLA certification (FCHP or similar) is a plus; a Florida pesticide applicator license is a plus

Terms
Independent contractor (1099), paid hourly or per project depending on experience. Flexible hours, with growth expected as the showroom builds its client base.
